The Pay-Off

The Pay-Off was the original offering from Bignose Software.

As explained on previous pages the success of The Pay-Off was muted by the demise of Atari and the subsequent failed launch of S.E.C.S (who were, by the way, a spin off from Software Express - one of the main publishers at that time).

The Pay-Off is a text adventure game based very much on the style of Pete and Steve's hero - Scott Adams of Adventure International.

The scenario is that you play the part of a two bit hoodlum who owes 40,000 big ones to "The Man" - Luigi. How are you going to get the money and save yourself from the inevitable fate of the concrete wellies? The answer is within the game - it is up to you to work your way through, solving the puzzles which will eventually lead you to .........
